What is Private Placement ?
An “private placement” is an investment in a company made by a group of private investors. This offering is restricted both by the number of shares or units available and the number of investors allowed to participate. Recipients of the private placement typically receive restricted stock from the issuer, which means there are limitations on when and how they can sell or transfer the shares.
